Financial reports overview

Use financial reports to review collected payments, outstanding balances, payment timing, and older unpaid sessions.

Open financial reports

  1. Open Finances.
  2. Select Reports.

The page includes a date-range control for the reporting period. Select Back to Finances to return to the finance table.

If the selected period has no billable sessions, the page displays an empty state instead of the summary cards and charts. Change the date range or return to Finances to review the underlying rows.

Review the summary cards

The report displays these summary cards:

  • Collected this period
  • Outstanding
  • Avg. days to payment
  • Paid late (30d+)

Important: Compare each report with the source financial records your organization uses for billing and accounting, especially after refunds, partial payments, waivers, or corrections.

Read the monthly chart

Collected by month groups payments by the date they were received, not by the session date.

The chart includes Collected and Outstanding views.

Keep the payment-date basis in mind when comparing this chart with scheduled or delivered session totals.

Review payment timing

Payment timing displays groups labeled:

  • Paid early
  • Paid same month
  • Paid 1 month late
  • Paid 2+ months late

Each group can show a count and percentage for the reporting period.

Review outstanding sessions

Outstanding sessions (oldest first) lists unpaid records with fields such as:

  • Date
  • Client(s)
  • Service
  • Amount
  • Days outstanding

Use this list to find older unpaid sessions that may need follow-up.
